Rauma-Class — Finland's Agile Coastal Strike Craft
The Rauma-luokka is a Finnish Navy missile boat class built at the Rauma shipyard between 1990 and 1992. Designed for Finland’s coastal and archipelago environment, the class combines speed, shallow-water capability and a compact fast attack craft profile.
The class consists of four vessels: Rauma, Raahe, Porvoo and Naantali. Built with aluminium hulls and waterjet propulsion, the Rauma-class was designed for strong manoeuvrability in shallow waters, while also reducing magnetic, thermal, radar and acoustic signatures.
In Finnish service, the Rauma-luokka carried anti-ship missiles, a 40 mm gun, 12.7 mm machine guns and anti-submarine equipment. The vessels were modernised between 2010 and 2013, extending their service life into the 2020s.
Our 3D printed scale model captures the distinctive silhouette of the Rauma-luokka: the low-profile hull, compact superstructure and fast attack craft layout associated with Finnish coastal defence.
A strong display piece for collectors of Finnish naval history, Baltic Sea defence, modern missile boats and Nordic military vessels.
