Nicknamed “Swedish K”, the M45 Carl Gustav submachine gun (often referred to as “Bertil”) is one of Sweden’s most famous firearm exports. Chambered in 9×19mm, it became legendary for its reliability, simple design, and global use, from Swedish service to covert use by U.S. special forces during the Cold War.
