The most powerful self-propelled gun ever built — Sweden’s Cold War artillery titan.

The Bandkanon 1 was Sweden’s self-propelled artillery system of the Cold War era, mounting a 155 mm gun with an automatic loading system capable of firing all 14 rounds in its magazine in under 45 seconds — a rate of fire unmatched by any other artillery system of its era. Only 26 were ever built, making it one of the rarest and most extraordinary armored vehicles in history. A true collector’s piece.

Why collectors choose it

  • The fastest-firing self-propelled gun ever built — 14 rounds in 45 seconds
  • Only 26 produced — extreme rarity
  • Massive, distinctive silhouette unlike any other vehicle
  • A conversation-starting centerpiece for any Swedish or Cold War collection
