🇸🇪 Made In Sweden

The Jurmo-luokan (Jurmo-class) is one of the most capable amphibious landing craft in Northern European service, purpose-built for the Finnish Navy in the late 1990s to transport Finnish Coastal Jaegers through the demanding conditions of the Baltic archipelago.

Designed as a direct replacement for the aging Uisko-class, the Jurmo was engineered from the ground up for all-weather amphibious operations. Its shallow draft allows it to beach in waters where conventional landing craft cannot operate, making it a critical asset for rapid coastal assault and logistical support in Finland's unique island-dotted coastline.

Operational Capabilities

  • Transports 22 fully equipped soldiers or 3 tons of cargo
  • Capable of coming to a full stop within one ship length from top speed
  • Exceptional maneuverability in confined coastal and archipelago waters
  • All-weather operational capability in Baltic Sea conditions
  • Low draft design enables amphibious assault in shallow waters

International Recognition

The Jurmo's design has attracted international attention — evaluated by both the German and Greek navies. The slightly enlarged and more powerful M14 variant was exported to the Royal Malaysian Police, with ten units delivered.
