🇸🇪 Made In Sweden
This emblem represents Amfibiekåren (the Swedish Amphibious Corps) the coastal defence arm of the Swedish Navy, built for operations in the archipelago and littoral environment. The Amphibious Corps was formed in 2000 as the successor to the Swedish Coastal Artillery (Kustartilleriet), reflecting a shift from static coastal batteries to more mobile amphibious units.
Today, Sweden’s amphibious forces (centered around Amf 1) train and operate with a mix of marine infantry, coastal rangers, and specialized coastal capabilities designed to control key maritime approaches and defend Sweden’s coastline.
The Torleif figure is closely tied to amphibious tradition and unit identity (a soldier-created symbol that has lived on in amphibious culture), paired here with the classic anchor to underline the Corps’ naval connection.
Emblem Size without the stand: 8x8 cm.
